Dear Our Students,

In accordance with Article 33 of the ISTU Graduate Education and Examination Directive, a doctoral qualifying examination will be administered for our doctoral students who have completed their coursework.

The examination consists of two parts: written and oral. The scope of the exam is limited to the content of the courses that students have taken and successfully completed during their doctoral studies. No written questions will be asked on subjects outside the courses that candidates have passed.

The written examination will be held simultaneously at the following locations on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Candidates are required to be physically present for the exam.

Baku / Azerbaijan: 12.00 (Baku Local Time) 
Ankara / Türkiye: 11.00 (Istanbul Local Time) 
Warsaw / Poland: 09.00 (Central European Time) 

For candidates who reside permanently abroad and can document their status with an official residence permit:
– Those residing in Türkiye will take the exam in Ankara, Türkiye.
– Candidates living outside Türkiye and Azerbaijan will take the exam in Warsaw, Poland.

Candidates who fall into these categories must promptly submit their official proof documents to [email protected] e-mail address.

An oral examination will also be conducted at a later date and through a method to be announced, for those who are successful in the written exam.
