At the Senate meeting of our University held on May 26, 2025, it was unanimously resolved that the center established within our institution to carry out global-scale activities in the fields of social communication, interaction, social responsibility, and social awareness as an integrated whole be named the Ofelia Bakhshaliyeva Center for Social Policies, in honor of the late Ofelia Bakhshaliyeva’s esteemed personality and the spiritual legacy she left behind. This decision has been formally declared to the public.
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this center. Guided by the principles of social responsibility, solidarity, and mutual support, our Center aims to contribute to the welfare of all people across the world.
Social service means understanding societal needs, touching lives, and contributing to positive change. With this awareness and sensitivity, our Center will provide opportunities to engage more deeply with these values and to develop responsive solutions to social challenges.
Here, you will meet individuals with expertise and experience in the field of social services, develop projects, and gain greater awareness of social issues. Together, through social responsibility projects, events, and aid campaigns, we will launch initiatives that foster social consciousness.
