Course Content
The Master of Laws Programme offers students the opportunity to learn using the distance education model, with the courses being conducted through an internet-based Learning Management System (LMS). This allows students to attend classes and complete the programme online. More information about the functioning of an LMS-based programme of the specified type is as follows:
1. Online Course Material: The course material of the programme is available on the LMS platform. Students can access lecture notes, slides, videos, reading material and other resources.
2. Video Lectures: Teaching is supported by video lecture recordings. Students can watch these videos online and have the opportunity to understand the course content.
3. Live Lectures and Webinars: Some programmes organise live lectures or webinars. Students can participate in these live sessions and interact with their instructors.
4. Interactive Discussion and Forums: The LMS provides students with interactive discussion boards and forums. These platforms allow students to ask questions about the course and exchange views with other students.
5. Student Assessments: Online quizzes, assignments, and project submissions are used to measure student achievement. These assessments evaluate students' ability to understand and apply the course material.
6. Customised Syllabi: The LMS provides students with customised course schedules. Students can choose courses that suit their specific interests or career goals.
7. Online Communication: Students can communicate with their instructors and classmates via LMS. Email, messaging and video conferencing tools can be used.
8. Research and Project Collaboration: Students can collaborate on research projects through the LMS. This gives students the opportunity to create online study groups.
9. Examination and Diploma: Students who successfully complete the programme are awarded a bachelor's degree.

Programmes conducted using an Internet-based LMS offer students the opportunity to study independently of geographical and time constraints. However, it requires students to be disciplined, have a good internet connection and learn to use digital learning platforms effectively. Instructional design and technical support are also crucial for the effective functioning of the programme.
